Sustainability Reporting

Since authoring many of the early independent reviews of corporate sustainability reports while leading Arthur D. Little’s sustainability practice, we have advised many leaders on how best to structure sustainability reporting.

Examples include…

Annual Report and 10K Analysis

Hedstrom Associates was asked by a Fortune 500 company to independently review the content of its annual report and financial disclosures to assess how climate and other sustainability issues were reported (or not). We found numerous instances where “boilerplate” text largely unchanged from prior years did not accurately reflect the current risk and opportunity landscape - especially related to carbon and climate change.

Company Website Reviews

It’s amazing how easy and inexpensive it can be to significantly upgrade your company’s sustainable growth story with some website changes.

Investors care about strong governance. And governance is the most misunderstood piece of the sustainability puzzle. As a leading sustainability governance expert, Gib Hedstrom can quickly spot weaknesses that are often easily fixed.

Sustainability Reporting

Hedstrom Associates continues to work with many major multinational corporations on their sustainability reports. We recently assisted a major European-based multinational, a major US-based multinational chemical company, and a small, privately held company in developing well-founded sustainability reports. Drawing on two dozen years of experience and a strong network of third parties who are involved in rating sustainability reports, we provide guidance on how to position the report for the maximum benefit of internal and external stakeholders.
